Naturopathic Medicine Virtual and In person Care

Ellastone Health is a name with a very personal meaning to me.
I was born and raised in Staffordshire, England, and Ellastone takes its name from a small village in Staffordshire, a little connection to home and to my roots.
But there's another personal connection to the name. I'm a mum to two wonderful boys, but had we had a daughter, the name I had always chosen for her was Ella. When I came across Ellastone, it immediately felt special, bringing together two important parts of my life: my family and where I was raised.
And in some ways, Ellastone Health feels like my third child, something I care deeply about and into which I bring so much of who I am, both personally and professionally.
Those connections are reflected in what Ellastone Health represents to me: warmth, community and genuine, personal care. A place where you have the time to talk, feel listened to and feel supported in your health.
The name comes from my story, but I hope that when you come to Ellastone Health, it feels like a healthcare space that belongs to you too.
My Approach
When you sit down with me, I want you to feel that you have the time and space to tell your story.
I want to know what's bothering you, but I also want to understand the bigger picture, how you're sleeping, what you're eating, how you're feeling, what your days look like, what your bloodwork is showing and what you realistically have the capacity to change.
Mental and emotional wellbeing are an important part of that conversation too. Sometimes what you need is not another supplement or another thing to add to your to-do list. You may need the space to talk about stress, anxiety, feeling overwhelmed, relationships or the challenges you're navigating in your life.
Counselling can be part of naturopathic care, alongside looking at the physical factors that may be affecting how you feel.
From there, we work together.
My approach combines evidence-informed naturopathic medicine with practical recommendations that can actually fit into your life. Depending on your needs, this may include nutrition, lifestyle changes, nutritional supplementation, botanical medicine, acupuncture and counselling.
I also believe strongly in collaborative healthcare. Naturopathic medicine doesn't have to sit separately from the rest of your healthcare. Where appropriate, I want to work alongside your family doctor, specialists and other healthcare providers, including mental health professionals when additional support is needed.
Why I Do This
One of the things I value most about naturopathic medicine is time.
Time to listen.
Time to ask questions.
Time to look at the bigger picture.
And time to help you understand your own health.
My role isn't simply to hand you a long list of things to take or things you should stop doing. I want you to understand the why behind the recommendations we make and feel involved in the decisions about your care.
Because ultimately, this is your health, and my job is to help you feel informed, supported and confident in taking care of it.
